Trichomes is known to be sticky resinous grown on marijuana buds. Its known to be the active ingredient in cannabis that gives you the feeling of being high. In greek terms, trichomes means growth of hair and acts like a shield to protect the plant so they can grow.
Inside the trichome is where you can find the reproducing of thc and other cannabinoids. Organelles are produced by plant called vacuoles which has a chemical compound containing phenols which then contains hydrocarbons called terpenes. The UV-B light waves hits the concentrated mat there fore creates cannabinoids. The tiny resin hairs are used to make hash and oil which is seperated from the plants.
